Text Message Terms

The program

Unicorn account notifications are text messages sent by Unicorn Software Solutions, Inc. through Unicorn on behalf of the bookkeeping, payroll or tax firm you work with. They include payroll information requests and reminders, secure document upload links, and security codes. They are never marketing messages.

How you agree to receive texts

You choose “Text message” or “Email and text” and enter your mobile number in the Payroll area of your firm's client portal and check the consent box, or you give your firm permission and its staff record that choice for you. Agreeing to texts is not required to use your firm's services; you can choose email instead.

How often

Message frequency varies with your firm's work, usually 1 to 3 messages per pay period plus any codes or links you request.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile plan.

Stop or get help

Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You will get one message confirming you are unsubscribed.
Reply HELP for help, or email security@unicornsoftware.biz.
You can also switch back to email in the Payroll area of your client portal at any time.

Carriers

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
